Recently the Board of Directors revised the signature section of the Waiver, Release, and Hold Harmless Agreement. The contents of the Agreement are unchanged. We are asking you to please print out and complete a new WAIVER, RELEASE and HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT found on our membership page and mail it with your payment. OR You may bring it to the next meeting. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Memberships Types:
INDIVIDUAL - Any individual 18 years or older - 1 card issued.   $60.00 Annual dues.
FAMILY - Husband &/or wife or significant other and their children under the age of 21 - 2 cards issued.  $80.00 Annual dues.   Children 17 and under are not issued cards as they need to have one of their parents present with them at the range. Young adults, ages 18 to 20
, could receive a card upon parents request and only if they are still living at home with that parent.   Birth dates must be supplied to the club along with their separate waivers. Adult Children 21 and over, even if they still reside at home, are considered an adult and would require their own membership.
LIFE -   Issued to individuals ONLY  - 1 card issued.  One time fee   $600.00
     There are NO Family Life Memberships.

No Membership is transferable to another person.

Non renewed members will be considered NEW Members after July 1, 2013.

Pat and  I wish to thank the members of the Bigfork Gun Club for allowing us to serve on the Club's Board of Directors this past year.

 

The Board of Directors meet monthly on the FIRST MONDAY of the Month.

Next meeting:   JUNE 3, 2013 - 6 pm.

This is the Annual General Membership Meeting and Election of Officers and Directors for the coming year.

Meeting held at the club house on the range.

RANGE SAFETY OFFICER (RSO) PROGRAM

Our Club needs additional Range Safety Officers.  You must be a member, willing to attend a 5 hour training class, and put in a minimum of 4, 5 hour shifts between the first of May and the end of October.  

If you are interested in helping out keeping our Club safe for every one, please contact Don Bissell, Chief Range Safety Officer at:   watchman@montanasky.net.

NOTICE:  Tuesdays mornings 9AM to 11AM  -  This time is set aside for the occasional Range Maintenance. Volunteers working on the range will have precedence.   If no maintenance is scheduled, the range is open for regular use. (rev 8/6/12)

NOTICE:  WHEN FINISHED SHOOTING ON ALL OF OUR RANGES PLEASE PICK-UP YOUR BRASS, TRASH, & FOOD ITEMS, ETC.  REMOVE EITHER THE CLUB’S PORTABLE TARGET FRAMES, AND YOUR OWN WHEN FINISHED SHOOTING.

VANDALISM   NOTICE 

Anyone who observes any vandalism to the property should call 911 immediately.  Lake County Sheriff's Department will respond.  The club's Board of Directors and Officers will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law when the perpetrator is apprehended.

Everyone should help in protecting the club's property, so please cooperate with this matter.

   

Weekly Shooting Schedule:    Revised 8/17/12

Sunday:            Open shooting all day on 25, 50, & 100 Meter Range and Pistol Range.  
The 200 Yard Range and Silhouette Range will be CLOSED from 10:00 AM until approx. 3:00 PM for Skeet & Trap.  Open shooting resumes on the closed ranges after this event.
Monday: Open shooting all day.
EXCEPT the FIRST Monday evening of each month, 6:00 PM until approx. 8:00 PM  for Board of Directors meetings.  
Open shooting resumes after this event is finished if daylight remains.    
Tuesday: Open shooting all day on 25, 50, & 100 Meter Range and Pistol Range.  
The 200 Yard Range and Silhouette Range will be CLOSED from 2:00 PM until approx. 4:00 PM for Skeet & Trap (Daylight savings months only - Mar - Oct)  Open shooting resumes on the closed ranges after this event is finished if daylight remains.

NOTE: Occasional Range Maintenance may take place between 9AM to 11AM, our volunteer workers will have precedence. If no maintenance is scheduled, the range is open for use as stated above.    (rev 8/6/12)
Wednesday: Open shooting all day on 25, 50, & 100 Meter Range and Pistol Range.  
The 200 Yard Range, Skeet and Shot Gun Range will be CLOSED from 6:00 PM for Small bore and Silhouette competitions (Daylight savings months only - April - September) .  Open shooting resumes on the closed ranges after this event is finished if daylight remains.
Thursday: Open shooting all day on 25, 50, & 100 Meter Range and Pistol Range.
Friday: Open shooting all day on 25, 50, & 100 Meter Range and Pistol Range.  
The 200 Yard Range, Silhouette Range and Skeet and Shot Gun Range may be CLOSED at noon on Fridays preceding Saturday events.    (See individual discipline pages above for detailed schedules)
Saturday: Open shooting all day on the Pistol Range.
The  25, 50, & 100 Meter Range will be closed the FIRST SATURDAY of each month (April through September) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for High Power Rifle Match.
The 200 Yard Range, Silhouette Range and Skeet and Shot Gun Range may be CLOSED the FIRST, SECOND, THIRD AND FOURTH SATURDAY of each month until approx. 6:00 PM, March through October, for shooting matches.   (See individual discipline pages above for detailed schedules)
The 200 Yard Range, Silhouette Range and Skeet and Shot Gun Range may be CLOSED on other Saturdays for SPECIAL EVENTS.

Open shooting resumes on the closed ranges after these events have finished if daylight remains.

Bring your COMBINATION and your MEMBERSHIP CARD.
We do random checks to insure Member Use only.

Gate is to be kept LOCKED at all times except during authorized Events.

There are NO alcoholic beverages allowed on the Gun Club property at any time. Period!

GETTING HERE

From the village of Bigfork (south of Kalispell) take Hwy 209 east until it dead ends into Hwy 83, turn right.  Go 3.1 miles south to the gate, on the left, marked by a large sign.
