MEMBERSHIP



HOW TO BE CONSIDERED FOR MEMBERSHIP:
Current members renewing their membership may mail their application and dues to the Club's mailing address:

The following must be included for renewing members and new applicants:   (rev. 9/9/13)
A Membership Application and a Waiver, Release & Hold Harmless Agreement, completed and signed.  Please set your printer to print each document on 1 sheet of paper. If any information is missing you will be ask to fill out a new one at the meeting before we will process your membership.



​Dues in the form of a check or money order. No cash please.
 

​Memberships Types:

INDIVIDUAL - Any individual 18 years or older - 1 card issued.   $90.00 Annual dues.
​SPOUSAL
- Husband & Wife  - 2 cards issued.  $140.00 Annual dues.  

(Children under the age of 18 may be guests but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.   Family members over age 18 should pay dues and be club members. Otherwise they would come as your guest.)
LIFE - NO LIFE MEMBERSHIPS ISSUED AT THIS TIME.

ALLpersons interested in becoming Members must attend a regular board meeting, present a photo identification and agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Corporation, sign an Application form, sign a Waiver, Release & Hold Harmless Agreement and agree to help the Corporation meet its goals.  

EACH member joining (both husband and wife if applying for a Spousal Membership) will be introduced to the board, and stay for the Safety and Range Orientation. New members will receive their card and combination after the Safety briefing.  

Expired memberships are treated as new applications.  New members may apply only at monthly Board meeting.

Meetings are held 6:00 PM on the first Monday of each month. Doors open at 5:15 PM, We WILL NOT process members once the meeting begins so please come early.    (Cash may be accepted at the meetings, but bring only the amount due - we do not make change.)   (rev. 7/1/2013)

Memberships are not transferable.  

Renewing members have a 30 day grace period from expiration to renew without going through new member procedure.   (rev. 5/07/12)   You may mail your renewal request and payment to the address above prior to June 30th.

Do not give out the combination.

Annual Memberships expire
on the last day of May in the year following the year in which the membership was purchased. The gate combination is changed every June 1st.  A member who joins during any month in 2014 has a membership that expires May 31, 2015.   A member joining before May 31st  will receive a gate combination that will be good until May 31st and will be issued a new card and combination on June 1st. Depending upon what month a member joins the Club, he/she might get more than 12 months or fewer than 12 months for his/her money, but he/she will get only one hunting season.

Election of Officers and Board Members takes place on the first Monday in June at 6:00 PM.

Monthly Board Meetings: All members are invited to attend Board meetings which are held at the range club house at 6:00 PM the first Monday of each month. There will be no shooting during Board meetings.

Information about matches will be posted in the clubhouse and on the Club Website.

Hunter Safety instructors use the range twice a year on designated Saturdays.

Tuesdays mornings 9 AM to 11 AM -  This time is set aside for the occasional Range Maintenance. Volunteers working on the range will have precedence.   (rev 8/6/12)

There are no alcoholic beverages allowed on the Gun Club property at any time. Period, End of story.

BASIC SAFETY RULES ARE VERY IMPORTANT 
1.  ALWAYS KEEP FIREARMS POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION. 
2.  ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO SHOOT. 
3.  ALWAYS KEEP THE FIREARMS UNLOADED UNTIL READY TO USE. 
4.  KNOW YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND. 
5.  KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR FIREARM SAFELY. 
6.  BE SURE THE FIREARM IS SAFE TO OPERATE. 
7.  USE ONLY THE CORRECT AMMUNITION FOR YOUR FIREARMS. 
​ 8.  ALWAYS WEAR EYE AND EAR PROTECTION WHEN ON THE RANGES. 
9.  NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING. NO ALCOHOL IS 
PERMITTED ON OUR PROPERTY … PERIOD!
10.  NO SMOKING ON ANY FIRING LINE FOR SAFETY REASONS.
11.  STORE FIREARMS SO THEY ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE TO UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS.
12.  BE AWARE THAT CERTAIN TYPES OF FIREARMS AND MANY SHOOTING ACTIVITIES REQUIRE
ADDITIONAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
