         NRA Firearms Training Course

                       Basic Pistol

The Bigfork Gun Club will periodically throughout the calendar year host and schedule an “NRA Basic Pistol Training Course”. This 12-hour course will be conducted by an NRA Certified Instructor onsite at our sport shooting facility in Bigfork, Montana.

Individuals who successfully complete this course will be issued an NRA certificate which is accepted in the State of Montana by County Sheriffs offices for those seeking to apply for a Montana Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP). Additionally, this course is also well suited for individuals who are unfamiliar with handguns and wish to learn proper handgun safety, handling and usage starting with the very basics on up to more advanced handgun skillsets. Women in the former category who have concerns about their personal safety will particularly enjoy and greatly benefit from this course of instruction. The course is also outstanding for mature youngsters whose busy parents wish to have their children attend a nationally recognized and approved NRA Handgun Safety Training program.
